About The Wonder Fill:

Wonder:

(noun)  a feeling of surprise and admiration brought on by experiencing something beautiful or unexpected

(verb)  to desire or to be curious to know something; to feel doubt

As a verb, wonder means to be curious to know something, but it also means to feel doubt.  What a perfect word.  It embraces so much of the human condition.  We are curious beings, often filled with a desire to learn or to experience new things, yet we often doubt ourselves or our ability to get what and where we want. It is that doubt that has prevented me from pursuing my passion time and time again.  The doubt, however, has yet to curb the desire to know and to experience all that life has to offer.  And, that’s the key, isn’t it?

We have to recognize the doubt because only in facing that doubt can we hope to overcome it, but we have to take it a step further.  We cannot allow that doubt to prevent us from perpetually seeking to find passion, purpose, and peace.  With that goal in mind, I set out on a journey of wonder – a journey where each day I choose to be present, mindful of and accepting of where I am, and intentional in my actions so that I may grow into the best version of myself.  Along the way I hope to share the stories of those I have met who have inspired and challenged me, to share the places and moments that give me pause or give me peace, and to truly experience each moment, however exciting or mundane. I don’t know exactly where this path leads.  My only hope is that along the way every day is filled with wonder.
