It all started when…

At the age of 43, my family relocated to the Charlotte area. Relocating is nothing new to us. Since getting married, my husband and I have lived in seven cities in five different states. No moving across town for us. While moving can be extremely challenging, it also provides opportunities, and as a result, I have had a wide variety of professional experiences. I’ve been a student, a teacher, a mom (the hardest job I’ve ever had), a real estate agent, a communications consultant, and an outside sales rep.

Moving to Charlotte has provided me yet another opportunity - the opportunity to use my varied experience and my endless list of interests to create a space that inspires and challenges me.

My name is Brooke. I’m a wife, a mother of five, a writer, and an extremely amateur photographer. I love a good book, a great glass of wine, and sports of all kinds (as a spectator - my athleticism is marginal at best). I’m still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up, but I sure am having fun on the quest.
